As a result of this Buddhist community donation, a Master of Pastoral Studies: Buddhism Program was established at Emmanuel College, the theological graduate school of Victoria University. http://www.emmanuel.utoronto.ca/Prospective/Academic_Programs/mpsbuddhism.htm

A search for the Shi Wu De Professor commenced late 2015 and concluded without any candidates being appointed. Emmanuel College has decided to start a new search in 2018.

The Shi Wu De Bursary Fund is created to encourage and assist students in preparing for a career in Buddhist chaplaincy in Canada.

Please contact us if you would like to make a donation to this Fund.
