Our Foundation sponsored a talk on April 7, 2021 by Professor Agnes Wong on The Art and Science of Compassion, reflections of a physician turned Buddhist chaplain. In case you missed it, here is the recording of the talk:

Dr. Agnes Wong is Professor of Ophthalmology, Neurology, and Psychology at the University of Toronto, and an active staff Ophthalmologist at The Hospital For Sick Children in Toronto where she is the former Ophthalmologist-in-Chief. She is also the former Vice Chair of Research in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Toronto, where she held the inaugural John and Melinda Thompson Chair in Vision Neuroscience. Dr. Wong received Buddhist chaplaincy training at the Upaya Zen Center in Santa Fe, USA from Roshi Joan Halifax.
