5K Walk
Please join our Buddha-Dharma Team to fundraise for the
BUDDHIST EDUCATION INITIATIVES of our Foundation.
1. Sunday September 27, 2026 at 11 am:
The event will be an in-person group gathering at the Edwards Gardens in Toronto (777 Lawrence Avenue East at Leslie Street).
2. The month of September 2026:
You may also participate virtually any where, any time, during the month of September 2026.
Please email admin@buddhistedufoundation.com to register with our Team Captain Alice Lee to join our team. We hope to raise funds to support
i. Courses in Buddhist end-of-life care and ritual practices at Emmanuel College, University of Toronto (3-year commitment);
ii. Buddhist Education Foundation Fellowship in Buddhism & Psychiatry in the Faculty of Medicine, U of T;
iii. Free Buddhist counselling service at the Toronto Centre for Applied Buddhism (TCAB);
iv. Buddhist spiritual care and counselling education & student practicum programs at TCAB;
v. Buddhist Education Foundation of Canada Annual Article Awards & Conference Grants;
vi. Undergraduate courses in Buddhist culture and history at the U of T (under discussion).
To donate by e-transfer, please e-transfer your donation to admin@BuddhistEduFoundation.com and provide in the e-transfer message: the name, e-mail address and postal address of the donor to whom the tax donation receipt should be issued. Your donation will be automatically deposited to our bank account at RBC.
To donate by cheque, please write a cheque payable to Buddhist Education Foundation of Canada and mail it to 280 Simcoe St., Apt.501, Toronto, Ontario M5T 2Y5, c/o Alice Lee (our Buddha Dharma Team team leader); also include with the cheque, the name of the donor, the e-mail address and postal address to go on the tax receipt.
